Strength

This piece is a melange of contrasting tactile surfaces, colours and techniques.

I was feeling low and deflated the day I picked up this canvas. The weather was grey and dismal and this shows in the painting.

When I had finished, my mood had lifted and I didn’t like what I had produced so, I added a semi-colon to remind me and others to choose to continue.
