My journey as an artist, began after a family tragedy. I used abstract painting, as a form of self care therapy. For me, things like nature, sunshine, reflections, and the simple smell of cut grass, can fill the soul with peace, balance and harmony.
I would try to reflect my mood or experiences into my paintings, even if my emotions evoked a dark ambience to my work.
My work is a mix of palette knife gestures, intuitive mark-making, metallic indents, brush strokes and emotional congruence.
