“Little Black Submarines ”

All the lost friends, forgotten in their tombs, the loves that never came and those that have never left, the stale odors and the rotten behaviors that we do not want or can not change, are our little black submarines, who come to attack us, when least we expect it.

The idea for this painting and poem came from listening to the song “Little Black Submarines” by #theblackkeys.

The colored papers are poshits I found in a box on the street filled with old office supplies.
