Proposals for a bridge between the then-separate cities of Brooklyn and New York had been suggested as early as 1800. At the time, the only travel between the two cities was by various ferry lines crossing the East River, until the Brooklyn bridge was built and opened in May 1883. This is the story of the only protagonist of our photograph “Brooklyn”.
Professionally produced on premium quality photographic paper. The photograph is laminated on Dibond, a composite aluminium plate, to provide high quality brightness while enhancing contrast and colours.
Available in bespoke sizes, framed or unframed.
